About

Beret’s Light Inc. is a charity that formed in 2016 named after Beret Rysdahl of Marshall, Minnesota who passed away due to breast cancer at the age of 27. Our mission at Beret’s Light is to live out the philosophy that Beret did in her final years, ‘Be the light every day.’

Beret’s Light has adopted the Ugandan orphanage MercyLine, where we are providing child sponsorships and helping with basic necessities. Many people involved in Beret’s Light have traveled to the orphanage to witness the positive work being done first hand.

At Beret’s Light, we also strive to help people within our own community, whether that’s through the burden of financial or medical costs, through loss or grief, or to just pay it forward and make someone’s day a little bit brighter.

Beret’s Light is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit.
